A new poll has revealed that 51 percent of Americans disapprove of the way their representatives are handling their jobs in Congress.
With only 40 percent Americans approving the caliber of their own representatives, the number of Americans who disapprove of their own Congress members has risen beyond 50 percent for the first time in 25 years, reported Politico.
However, Democrats are still receiving more favorable ratings than Republicans, the report added. Almost 49 percent people in America said that they have a favorable impression of the Democratic Party.
The poll was conducted among 1,029 people between July 30 and August 3.
