The Cross-border trade and travel at the Chakan-da-bagh has been suspended due to the damage of the Time-Domain Reflectometer (TDR) cause way bridge on the LoC, Chackan Dha Bagh in Poonch, after the flash flood situation here.
It is the only link to connect the cross LoC Poonch and Rawalakot PoK trade and travel on the LoC.
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) work is on to make the temporary way from the Nallaha to connect the LoC link so as to resume the cross LoC travel and trade.
The BRO officials said, "Very shortly the link for cross LoC trade and travel between Poonch and Rawalakot will be resumed."
"More than 80 personals and the residents of PoK are still staining in the Indian side Poonch and 20 Indian residents in PoK due to the suspension," he added.
