Leading merchant discovery and privileges platform app Crownit has announced its collaboration with online taxi aggregator Ola to allow users to book Ola cabs through Crownit app and receive redeemable points for every booking in the form of 'crowns', thereby adding greater value to every consumer cab reservation.

Crownit's integration with Ola also marks the second anniversary of its inception and underlines its commitment to help users save on their lifestyle spends through offers on local deals.

The platform is gearing up for higher transaction frequencies and more app usage as a result of the partnership, as it has already captured almost all categories an average user spends in. Users' ability to not only access all their needs through Crownit but to also get cash-backs and other rewards is what differentiates 'Crowning it' from a regular shopping experience.

"Cab reservations, today, have emerged as one of the most popular day-to-day booking categories for the Indian consumer. Since our entire proposition revolves around providing value-addition to our very frequent and high-spending user base of 9.5 lakh customers, we decided to venture into the category and extend the benefits of our platform to user cab reservations," said Founder and CEO Crownit, Sameer Grover.

"Partnering with a brand like Ola near our second anniversary is a very proud moment for us. We are confident that the partnership will provide our users with another avenue to win exciting rewards along with the convenience of making all their lifestyle purchases through a single app," added Sameer Grover.

The partnership is yet another step in the direction of making Crownit a one-stop solution for all lifestyle discretionary spends. The platform has been partnering with aggregators across multiple product/service categories in order to create a seamless and rewarding experience for users through deals, cash-backs and other value-driven benefits.
