In an apparent reference to BJP MP Kirti Azad who targeted his own party leader and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) on Monday said necessary action will be taken against people are who are making false allegations against the Finance Minister.

"BJP is a disciplined party. Arun Jaitley ji is our eminent leader and the party will take necessary action against such baseless allegations," Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told the media here.

"Allegations against Arun Jaitley ji are baseless and absurd. There are some people who have opened a shop of giving certificate of honesty to people. They are such people who are trying to raise their height against others by such false allegations," Naqvi added.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday filed civil defamation suit in Delhi High Court against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leaders, amid a raging row over irregularities in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) and allegations of corruptions against him by the Delhi Government.

Jaitley has filed the defamation suit of Rs 10 crore against AAP leaders.

Finance Minister Jaitley has been accused of corruption by the Delhi Government and former players including Kirti Azad and Bishan Singh Bedi during his tenure as president of DDCA till 2013.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress Party has demanded for the resignation of the Finance Minister from the union cabinet to enable an independent probe against him.

Hitting back, Jaitley had said in his blog that the AAP convener is trying to divert attention and protecting his corrupt Principal Secretary by linking it to the Delhi Cricket body.
