De Kock's 113 helps South Africa A dominate India A on day two

Quinton de Kock's brilliant century helped South Africa A achieve a commanding 420 runs first innings lead at stumps on day two of the first unofficial Test against India A on Wednesday in Wayanad.

Resuming at yesterday's position of 293-4, South Africa A made 542 runs.

Dane Vilas (75) and Temba Bavuma (66) were the other scorers for the tourists.

Opting to bat first, Omphile Ramela had earlier scored 112 off 197 balls, including 12 fours and three sixes before getting out just before stumps on the opening day of the first test.

From Indian side, Akshar Patel and Jayant Yadav took four and two wickets respectively.

India A were at 122 /3 at sumps at the close of the second day, with Ambati Rayudu (11 not out) and Karun Nair (0 not out) at the crease. The hosts lost Abhinav Mukund for 38 and Shreyas Iyer for 49.
