A fellow inmate of Paralympics runner Oscar Pistorius has said that the South African blade runner is getting VIP treatment in one of the world's most notorious prisons.
The fellow inmate said that the 28-year-old was a VIP prisoner, adding that he can do whatever he wants to do and everything was free for him.
He also said that his cell was provided with curtains and other necessary amenities just because he has got the money,NBC News reported.
South Africa's parole board had earlier announced that it had approved Pistorius' release from prison on August 21, who is facing charges of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
However, prosecutors are calling on a panel of judges at the country's Supreme Court to overrule a decision by another judge to acquit Pistorius of murder charges.
If prosecutors succeed in their appeal against the culpable homicide conviction in the Supreme Court of Appeal and have it upgraded to murder, Pistorius would face a minimum of 15 years in jail.
