The Rolling Stones have said in a statement that they are devastated by the loss of their very dear friend and legendary saxophone player, Bobby Keys.

The statement added that the 70-year-old saxophonist, who was most famous for his work with the Stones on the classic track 'Brown Sugar,' made a unique musical contribution to the band since the 1960s and he will be greatly missed, the BBC reported.

Guitarist Keith Richards said that he has lost the largest pal in the world and he can't express the sense of sadness he feels although Keys would tell him to cheer up.
