A Delhi police constable shot himself with his service gun when he was on duty at the police control room in Dayalpur on Monday.
The constable, who was identified as Suresh, has also left behind a suicide note.
According to the preliminary inquiry, it was revealed that he was in depression after his father's death.
Further investigation is underway.
