Delhi Traffic Police has made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth movement of traffic across the capital during the "Abhinandan Rally" to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders at the Ramlila Ground here today.
The traffic police has advised commuters going to New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and ISBT to start early with sufficient time in hand for absorbing possible delays in the routes.
An advisory from the Delhi Police said no commercial vehicles will be allowed from Delhi Gate and Rajghat to Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, from Kamla Market to Ajmeri Gate, DDU Minto light point towards Kamla Market, Lahori Gate towards Ajmeri Gate on Shraddhanand Marg and Barakhamba-Tolstoy towards Guru Nanak Chowk. Delhi Police has also advised the public to make maximum use of public transport, especially Delhi Metro.
