A new study has revealed that 9 out of 10 primary school children pay no attention to their parents and remain busy on mobile phones and gaming at dinner tables.
The results suggested that around 37 percent of kids wanted to eat in front of the television and out of 1,000 kids one in three devoted less than 15 minutes to their evening meal, the Daily Express reported.
A survey carried out by pub chain Table Table found that about 12 percent of 6 to 10-year-olds never eat dinner with their parents; however, half of them do want to spend more time with them.
Firm's spokesman said that children are distracted by other activities at meal times but there's a real desire from them to talk about their day with their parents.
