DRG jawan killed in encounter with Naxals in Chhattisgarh

A District Reserve Group (DRG) jawan was killed in an encounter with Naxals in Kanker on Friday.

DIG RL Dangi confirmed the death of DRG jawan.

The Naxals, however, managed to flee the area during the encounter.

The security personnel are still inside the forest for a search operation.

According to Kanker SP K L Dhruv, no arms and ammunition was recovered from the spot.
