South Africa all-rounder JP Duminy has been ruled out of the upcoming two-match T20 series against New Zealand as he has been granted paternity leave to be with his wife, Sue, who is due to give birth to the couples' first child.
Cricket South Africa (CSA) confirmed that Duminy, who was set to miss three ODIs against New Zealand beginning August 19, will also miss Friday's opening T20 in Durban and Sunday's second and final match in Centurion, Sport24 reported.
According to CSA, no replacement will be roped into the squad.
