2015 Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne is the frontrunner to star in Harry Potter spinoff trilogy 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them', it has been reported.
The British actor, who has just finished work on 'The Danish Girl' and Warners Bros.' 'Jupiter, is being considered for the Harry Potter spinoff among other actors as well, Deadline.com reported.
It is also reported that Redmayne has not seen a finished script yet.
In other news, Dean Israelite Project Almanac is in negotiations to helm 'Power Rangers', the reboot of the 1990s-spawned action franchise that Saban Brands is putting together at Lionsgate for a July 22, 2016 release.
