At least five people have been injured in a blast near a Frontier Corps vehicle on Quetta's Qambrani Road.

The Express Tribune quoted a police official, as saying that unknown militants were involved in the attack and used a remote controlled bomb, which was planted on the roadside, to blow up a convoy of FC vehicles, reports the Dawn.

The five injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for treatment. Security sources said that three personnel were also among those wounded.

Minor damages have been caused to a FC vehicle. The site of the attack has been cordoned off as a probe has been initiated into the attack.
