At least five people belonging to the Hazara community have been killed in Quetta's Bacha Khan Chowk area after
unknown assailants opened fire.
According to Dawn News, the police said that the assailants opened fire at two shops near Bacha Khan Chowk, the city's commercial hub.
The police also said that four people died on the spot in the attack while the fourth one was rushed to the hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.
The assailants managed to escape from the scene after launching the act of targeted killing.
More than half-a-dozen Hazara community has been gunned down in Quetta in the past few days.
