Yahoo owned Flickr has announced that it is bringing back Flickr Pro, its premium service for power users allowing new users sign up for the added features since 2013
In May of 2013, Flickr got an overhaul and upgraded storage on free accounts to 1 terabyte. Flickr also eliminated the old Pro plan, replacing with an ad-free option for USD 50 a year.
According to the Verge, the new Pro is offering improved insights and analytics so the users can see how many people are viewing their photos. It also brings back the Pro badge, which announces their superiority over basic users.
Earlier this year, Flickr unveiled a major redesign for its web and mobile apps that seems to store and organize all of the user's photos.
Also, the new Pro includes discounts on photo merchandise purchased through Flickr and on the users first year of Adobe's Creative Cloud Photography service.
The new users can sign up for Pro for USD 5.99 a month or USD 49.99 a year.
Existing Pro users will be automatically upgraded to the new Pro.
