Forest officials safely rescued a two-month-old leopard cub on Friday, which went astray after separating from its mother.

The officials rescued the cub and handed it over to the zoo here.

"The forest department came and took a look at him. They said that it is a leopard cub, and also tried to find the mother so that they could put the cub with the mother, but unfortunately they could not locate the mother. So they brought the cub to the zoo and now we are taking care of it," an Indore zoo official, Uttam Yadav said.
