Frank Gifford's daughter Cassidy Gifford took to Instagram on August 10 to pen a touching tribute to her late father following his tragic death.
Posting a throwback picture of the NFL legend, Kathie Lee's 22-year-old daughter captioned the image, "Very few people are blessed enough to call their father a legend, and an even smaller number are able to share that notion with the rest of the world," reported Us magazine.
Claiming that she his humbled by the outpour of support her family has received, she further wrote that she has lost her best friend and despite the worldly passing of an incredible man, she undoubtedly knows that heaven gained one stud of an angel.
The 84-year-old NFL star died of natural causes on August 9 in his Connecticut home.
