A woman and her daughter were killed in an Israeli air strike on the Islamist militant group Hamas in the Gaza strip.
The air strike, at one of the armed camps, led to a powerful explosion that caused a nearby house collapsed in which the victims were sleeping, The New York Times reported.
According to Ashraf al-Qidra, a spokesperson of the Gaza Health Ministry, a man and a five-year-old boy were also injured in the attack.
The Israeli military said in a statement that the air strike was in response to the two rockets attack on Israel earlier.
However, no groups including the Hamas have taken responsibility for the attack.
