Gillian Anderson will be starring as Blanche DuBois in the 2014 production of Tennessee Williams' classic tragedy- 'A Streetcar Named Desire'.
The former 'X-Files' star's will play a fragile and troubled beauty, who relies on the kindness of strangers, the Courier Mail reported.
The London theatre announced that the Young Vic production, which will be helmed by Benedict Andrews, will open in summer 2014.
The blonde beauty has previously performed on the London stage in 'A Doll's House' at the Donmar Warehouse in 2009 and 'What The Night is For' in 2012.
