Google has announced that it will be releasing an update for Google Calendar this week.

According to the Verge, Google Calendar will now automatically take events that it detects in Gmail like flights, hotel or restaurant reservations and adding an entry for them. Those entries are supposed to stay updated, should there be a change in plans or a delay.

Google says that basically any ticketed event should be detected.

Google also says that the feature should roll out over the coming week to everyone with a Google Apps account.
