Google has given a tribute to Leo Tolstoy by dedicating a Google Doodle on War and Peace author's186th birthday.
The slideshow on Google Doodle begins with an image of a bearded Tolstoy where he can be seen writing at his desk by candlelight before presenting scenes from his most famous works, including 'War and Peace', 'Anna Karenina' and 'The Death of Ivan Ilyich', the Independent reported.
A scene from Anna Karenina and a scene from Anna Karenina can also be seen on Google Doodle.
Tolstoy was born on 9 September 1828 and died from pneumonia at Astapovo train station at the age of 82 in 1910.
