The Unified Communist Party of Nepal -Maoist Secretary Barshaman Pun on Monday said that Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli led- government's policy and programme was presented with haste in the Parliament without consulting the party, which is one of the key coalition ally.
According to Pun, the announcement to hold the local elections later this year was also made without keeping the Maoist party or its chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, in the loop, reports the Himalayan Times.
Also referring to the recent nine-point agreement that was struck between the party and Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli's Communist Party of Nepal - Unified Marxist-Leninist to save their alliance, Pun said the government policy and programme has failed to acknowledge it.
He expressed his hope that the government consults the coalition allies while bringing in the new budget.
