British Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton has told his Mercedes teammate and title rival Nico Rosberg that his mind games would not work on him, ahead of their desert showdown in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
Hamilton can become only the fourth Briton in history to win two World titles if he finishes in the top two.
After Hamilton blew the chance of pole and Rosberg grabbed front spot, the German said that he would keep all the pressure on, adding that Hamilton has been doing several mistakes lately, which are the signs that give him hope, The Mirror reported.
But Hamilton, who has a 17-point lead, was more than 'Happy' after catching up with American hit maker Pharrell Williams after the session.
And Prince Harry and former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell were guests of Red Bull in a star-studded pre-race pitlane. Relaxed Hamilton fired back at Rosberg, saying that he does not really pay much attention to the German, adding that it's his way of dealing with things.
Hamilton said that the confidence he has in knowing he can race helps a lot.
The Brit struggled to come to terms with his troublesome Brembo brake pads yesterday and made the most microscopic of errors in both qualifying runs
Rosberg, meanwhile, in the other Mercedes, was the blonde-haired picture of Teutonic efficiency. He stormed through the smallest of crevices Hamilton left on the clock to snare his third successive pole, the report added.
