Foreign ministers of India and Japan and their respective delegations will meet here to discuss ways to take bilateral relations between the two nations forward.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and and her Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida will deliberate on a range of key issues at the Eighth India-Japan Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue.
Both sides are likely to deliberate on issues such as initiating joint production of amphibious aircraft US-2, removing hurdles coming in the way of a civil nuclear deal, enhancing maritime security cooperation and implementing several mega infrastructure projects.
The Tokyo Declaration issued during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Tokyo in September last year may also come up for discussions, media reports said.
