Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit on Tuesday downplayed Pakistan's move to highlight the cancellation of the NSA-level talks to the United States, saying the two Asian neighbours must resolve all issues on their own without any third party intervention.
"As per the Shimla accord, we need to resolve all issues amongst ourselves, whether it is the issue of trade, terrorism, Kashmir or any other issue. What they say in America is not important. America has nothing to do with this," Dikshit told ANI here.
"It is, however, true that India has time and again put it forward in the international arena that Pakistan is supporting terrorist activities. Terrorist activities are aimed at India under the veil of the Pakistani Army. May be Nawaz Sharif ji is going there to give a justification in this regard," he added.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will raise the issue of suspended Indo-Pak peace process with President Barack Obama during his US visit next week, Pakistan's National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz has said.
