Asserting that individual incidents shouldn't be given castiest colour, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday said that his government has referred the recent Ballabgarh incident to the CBI and added that the law and order situation in the state is fine.

"We have referred the case to the CBI. And I don't think that at present we can do anything more than this," he said while addressing the media here.

"Law and order situation is fine. There is peace in the state. Individual incidents shouldn't be given castiest colour," he added.

In the recent Gohana incident, a 15-year-old Dalit boy, Govinda, was allegedly murdered by policemen in Gohana, Haryana.

Govinda's brother claimed that the 15-year old was brutally beaten in custody and had prominent cuts across his body. He also claimed that the arms and legs of the dead boy had been fractured.

In the Sunpedh caste-violence case, two children of a Dalit family died and their parents suffered burn injuries after their home was set on fire, allegedly by upper-caste Rajputs.
