Revolutionary guards in Iran have claimed that they shot an Israeli drone near the Natanz nuclear enrichment site, 300km south of the capital Tehran.
However, the guards could not confirm how they knew the drones were from Israel.
The statement from revolutionary guards did not verify when the drone was brought down.
Western countries are negotiating with Iran over it nuclear issues.
Iran has insisted on keeping its nuclear capabilities for peaceful purposes, reported the BBC.
According to reports, Israel had earlier threatened to attack Iran's nuclear plants.
