A monitor has said that the Islamic State (IS), in its first execution for alleged homosexuality, stoned two men to death in Syria after they claimed that they were gay.
According to News24, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that one of the men was only 18 years old while the other was 20 years old.
One of them was killed in Mayadeeen in the eastern province of Dier Ezzor, near the Iraqi border.
The IS claimed that it found videos of the man showing him carrying out indecent acts with males.
An 18 year old was stones to death in a separate incident in Deir Ezzor city after the group said that he was gay.
The United Nations said IS had carried out several executions by stoning of women in Syria it accused of adultery this month.
