Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed on Friday said it is for the nation to see where and why the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government has failed to keep the promises made during the 2014 general elections.
"See what they promised to the people of this country before the Lok Sabha polls, and see what they are doing today. It is for the people of the nation to see," Ahmed told ANI here while commenting on the R S Pura ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops.
"This is really pathetic and unfortunate, and the government should act immediately on these issues," he added.
"This is very unfortunate. Several civilians have been killed. Not today, two-three days ago, six people were killed by unprovoked firing by Pakistan. Day before yesterday, one of our junior commissioned officers was killed. So, this is very unfortunate and Mr. Modi is keeping mum, His government is keeping mum," Ahmed said.
