J.K. Rowling's new riddle on the Pottermore website includes vampires and Professor Slughorn's Christmas party, it has been reported.

The riddle reads, "With vampires and authors and a gatecrashing Malfoy/ Slughorn's Christmas party was one for (almost) all to enjoy/ much to the surprise of fans, friends and the rest/ which loony Ravenclaw does Harry bring as a guest?" E! Online reported.

Accompanying the rhyme was a note that reads, "Professor Slughorn decorates his office in a riot of colour for his Christmas party. Dust off your dress robes, answer our rhyming riddle and join in the festive Hogwarts spirit in today's surprise. Is Professor Snape a vampire? Explore Slughorn's office and read Rowling's final word on that popular rumour."

It was mentioned that whoever solved the riddle can move on to the next step in British author's holiday-themed scavenger hunt.
