Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today called on Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, here today.
According to reports the Jammu and Kashmir chief minister is believed to have discussed the need for a special rehabilitation package from the Centre for putting life back on track for his state.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made an appeal to the countrymen to donate generously to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the flood-affected people in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Prime Minister has said that the Centre was extending full cooperation to the state government in the measures for rescue, relief and rehabilitation, besides direct assistance to the affected people.
