At the new luxury hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam, Japanese company TOTO has installed 'washlet' toilets in every guest room.
Hanoi's Lotte Hotel has promised to provide comfort to every guest.
The hot water washing toilet has a remote control device to flush water after finishing.
Lee Jung Youl, General Manager, Lotte Hotel, said, "Toilet culture in Vietnam is not very advanced. Many of the people who have used TOTO products are really happy after their first time experience of using high-tech toilet product. That's why, they are very interesting."
Khoo Teck Puat Hospital is the one of the biggest general hospitals in Singapore, and was opened in 2010.
Concerned about clean sanitation, the hospital installed TOTO toilets in every wash room.
It is named 'eco-washer'.
Ernie Yanty Binte Borhanudin, a senior staff nurse, said, "It has a sensor and we don't need to press any button manually. Instead, we raise our hand over the sensor and it does the flushing, which is very good."
People will slowly understand the importance of clean toilet and products like TOTO toilets will get the recognition in every home.
Donald Wai, Director, Hospital Planning, said, "Now, these people are very conscious to keep themselves healthy by having a high hygiene standard in the bathroom and toilet. They can start consider buying it and installing in the homes."
Japanese firm Hoya is also expanding its footprints in the ASEAN region.
Its Thai subsidiary, Thai Hoya Lens, a leading supplier of innovative high-tech optical glass products also runs a professional training facility for optometrists and opticians in Bangkok.
It is called "Hoya Academy".
Facilities in Thai Hoya Academy have consisted of progressive lens simulation center, advance measuring devices such as True view I, Various product demonstration tools were in place to support refraction, Progressive Lens fitting workshop, and eye care practice related lecture.
Hoya's training center was initially started in 2009 with a focus to provide internal team training.
Over many years of activities, Thai Hoya has received good feedbacks about the training program.

We believed our specialized training and education will inspire others through a journey of good life and harmony with nature. Since 2013, Thai Hoya Academy has welcomed over 3,000 participants from all over Thailand.
Thai Hoya will continue to work towards in this academic training direction and strive to be the best in class optical training academy in the industry.
