JD (U) minister Baidyanath Sahni joins BJP

Bihar Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister and Janata Dal (United) MLA from Samastipur district, Baidyanath Sahni on Saturday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Sahni, a JD (U) MLA from Morwa Assembly seat, resigned from the Nitish Kumar government and joined BJP in presence state unit president Mangal Pandey.

According to reports, Sahni was denied a ticket by the JD (U) for the upcoming assembly polls.

Last month, JD (U) MLA from Raghopur Satish Kumar had joined the BJP.
