Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju on Saturday said politics was happening over the killing of 50-year-old Mohammad Akhlaq, who was lynched by a mob on September 28 for allegedly eating and storing beef.
"Politics is happening over the Dadri killing. We will seek a report, and will do the needful, said Rijiju, when his opinion was sought on Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's visit to kin of the victim.
