Jim Carrey is in talks to star in an upcoming comedy flick titled 'Deep Cover.'
If the deal is sealed, the 52-year-old actor, who was recently seen in 'Dumb and Dumber To,' which has already earned 128 million dollars worldwide, would not only star in the film, penned by Johnny Rosenthal, but would also produce the project alongside producer Michael Aguilar for their Some Kind Of Garden media company, News24.com reported.
The film is a Red Granite Pictures' project, which had also worked on Carrey's 'Dumb and Dumber' sequel as well as 2013's Oscar-nominated 'The Wolf Of Wall Street.'
The plot for film is still under wraps but it said it that the film is not at all related to the 1992 crime thriller of the same name.
