N Sync, who had a reunion in the latest VMA were initially not happy that the 'What Goes Around Comes Around' hitmaker nixed plans of including more of the band's song in the show, Us magazine reported.

A source said that the band was pushing for more songs, and though they were thrilled to have a come back on the stage with Timberlake were upset that their plans were debunked.

The insider revealed that the band was originally told that it was going to be more of their old hits and not just 'Bye Bye Bye', but were disappointed when the 32-year-old singer-actor reworked it.

However, the source asserted that despite the disappointment, there is no bad blood among the group members and they loved being together like the old times.

Timberlake acknowledged his pals while accepting his milestone award saying that half of the "Moonmen" he has ever won, were with 'N Sync and that he is going to share even this award with them.
