The administrative judge of an anti-terrorism court here has extended the police remand of Dr. Asim Hussain, a former federal minister and close aide of former president Asif Ali Zardari, for seven days in a case relating to providing treatment and shelter to terrorists.
According to the Dawn, Dr. Hussain will complete 11 days in police custody after the current court order.
The prosecuting lawyer said the seven days were required to complete the probe against Dr. Hussain.
