Key witness in Asaram case dies in Ahmedabad

Asaram's former aide and key witness in the rape case against him, Amrit Prajapati, passed away in an Ahmedabad hospital on Monday.

Prajapati had been in a critical condition since May 23, when he was shot at by an unidentified man in his Rajkot clinic. He had slipped into a coma after the fatal shooting.

Prajapati was a former associate of Asaram and was apparently privy to many details regarding the self-styled godman.
