Filmmaker Karan Johar took to his Twitter handle to unveil the biography and tweeted, "Shashi Kapoor: The Householder, The Star Written by Aseem Chabbra...and forward by yours truly! It's out NOW."
Shashi, who has been honoured with the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India for his contributions to Art-Cinema, is also a recipient of Dadasaheb Phalke Award, making him the third member of his family to receive the highest award in the Indian Cinema after Prithviraj Kapoor and Raj Kapoor.
