Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav today said that no final decision had been taken on Janta Dal United (JDU) leader, Nitish Kumar seeking support from his party.
"Nitish Kumar had called me, I haven't taken any decision, I will first discuss with my MLAs before making the final call," said Yadav.
"The JDU is looking for an extinguisher to control the fire which their party members have lit," he added.
The BJP, Bihar's main opposition party, and JD-U rebel legislators have extended support to two independent candidates against the JD-U nominee for the Rajya Sabha election, making the contest close.
The Rajya Sabha polls are due on June 19.
