Congress workers staged water and power crisis protests in the Karol Bagh area of New Delhi on Sunday, claiming that the central government, which is led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was not doing enough to end it.
Shouting anti-government slogans, the Congress workers blamed the BJP for misguiding the people of
Delhi during elections, and reminded citizens about much happier times when their party was in power for 15 consecutive years.
The city has been reeling under long outages for the last 15 days after electricity transmission networks were severely damaged by a devastating storm on May 30.
