Hollywood actors Jude Law and Ewan McGregor have reportedly been offered to play Roger Chapman and Roger Mallinson in a movie about the deepest underwater rescue in history.
Former Royal Navy submariner Chapman, who has been in talks with production company Giant Film, revealed that it was up to the actors to decide if they wanted to play the role, but the film company has decided to stick to the story, the Daily Star reported.
Chapman and Mallinson had spent three days trapped in a Pisces III, a 6ft deep-sea submersible that had been laying deep-sea phone cables 150 miles off the coast of Ireland in 1973 and were rescued with only a few minutes of oxygen left.
