The lawyers staged a protest here on Saturday demanding that a High Court bench should be set in Pune.
"There should be a High Court bench in Pune. We have been asking for this since 1978. This is not just our desire, but also of the people of Pune," said an advocate, who participated in the protest.
The Pune Bar Assocation (PBA) has been fighting for the demand of setting up a High Court bench in the city since 1978.
