Lightning' Bolt dubs De Villiers "100 metre champion among cricketers."

Usain Bolt has named South African skipper AB de Villiers as the fastest cricketer in the world.

Speaking at a press conference here today, the Jamaican sprinter said, "The fastest cricketer for me would be, without a doubt, AB de Villiers. I would pit him as the 100 metres champion among crickters."

Bolt also had some banter for him compatriot and friend, the heavy-hitting Chris Gayle. "Gayle is definitely the slowest cricketer. I always tell that he should stop running, because everytime he does so, he pulls a hamstring," he grinned.
