West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday made a strong pitch for her state being an ideal investment destination before prospective investors by listing out positives of doing business.

"You can utilize Bengal from all angles and if you see our overall growth.....you will get cheap manpower from Bengal, skill power....we have the employment bank readily available, we are giving training to the people. Land is available, no problem for land we are not going to acquire land forcefully but we have the land bank.....," Banerjee said while speaking at the 'Bengal Global Business Summit 2015' here.

She also gave an example about the ease of doing business as she referred to of setting up a Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure in West Bengal.

"We have set our Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure, within seven days we clear all the proposals. Earlier, there was a problem of land mutation....... So, the synergy system and everything is available," she said.

She also tried to project the state an attractive destination in the area of tourism.

"We have enough opportunities for tourism from cultural tourism to educational hub, to medical hub to small scale industry to big industry," she said.
