Man Mohan Bhanot appointed India's ambassador to Syria

Senior Deputy Secretary in the finance division of External Affairs Ministry, Man Mohan Bhanot, has been appointed India's next ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic.

The current Charge d' Affaires of the Indian embassy in Damascus is S.R. Meena.

He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
