Manchester United striker Anthony Marital has drawn inspiration from Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, saying that he wants to develop a goalscoring instinct like that of the latter.
"Someone like [Cristiano] Ronaldo focuses on scoring. To progress, perhaps I also need to think more about scoring," Martial was quoted as saying by goal.com.
Admitting that he needs to think more like a goal scorer, the 20-year-old said that he had to work harder on the training session in order to improve.
Last year, Martial became world's most expensive football teenager after he joined Manchester United in a deal worth 36 million pounds.
Martial low goal-scoring instincts can be seen by his performance as he scored only 12 goals in 38 appearances he had made for the Old Trafford club.
