A court of law has reportedly convicted the man accused of operating Silk Road, "a deep web marketplace" where illegal drugs were sold.
Thirty-year-old Ross Ulbricht was convicted by a Manhattan jury on all seven counts including narcotics and money laundering conspiracies, reported the BBC.
Ulbricht had earned about 18 million dollars in Bitcoins through a million drug deals that took place on Silk Road.
His defence counsel had argued that he was being framed for the site's activity and had quit the site.
