Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Thursday presented the Delhi Budget in the city's assembly, referring to it as 'the nation's first Swaraj Budget'.
"I take pleasure and pride in saying that this is the nation's first Swaraj Budget. We have taken into account expectations and aspirations of the Delhi people while preparing this Budget. This is a budget for the aam aadmi," Sisodia said, while presenting the budget.
"We want to develop Delhi as a world-class skill centre via this budget. The proposed Delhi budget estimate for the year 2015-16 is Rs 41,129 crore," he added.
